Dr. Vinay Kumar Shaw Laparoscopic & GI Onco Surgeon in Gurgaon. With more than 25 years of medical experience, Dr. Vinay Kumar Shaw is a proficient laparoscopic, gastrointestinal and bariatric surgeon. He has successfully treated around 10000 cases and has been associated with many prestigious healthcare institutions. He was formerly Consultant at Medeor Hospital (previously known as Rockland Hospital) and also at MedantaMedicity, Gurugram. His expertise includes GI, GI Oncological, Minimal Access, and Bariatric surgery. Dr. Shaw did his Master’s degree from GMCH and followed it with further training in laparoscopic surgery at Institute of Minimal Invasive Surgery, AMRI, Kolkata. He completed his senior residency with teaching experience of three years at VMMC and Safdarjang Hospital which is one of the largest tertiary level multi-disciplinary healthcare institutions in this part of the World. He has keen interests in Minimal Access Surgery and also received training at South Korea. He has numerous publications in indexed journals which includes the prestigious British Journal of Surgery. He is invited faculty at various national scientific conferences and also awarded Travel Grant in South Korea by the International Associations of Surgeons, Gastroenterologists, and Oncologists (IASGO). He has pioneered a safe HAP technique for Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy which was presented at the highly valued National IASG meeting held at AIIMS, New Delhi, and also at the International Congress of the European Association of Endoscopic Surgeons. He is a reviewer for the Indian Journal of Surgery and believes in ensuring the highest quality of surgical care with evidence-based treatment strategies.

5. Medical Visa Assistance: Once the patient is satisfied with the recommended treatment and hospital and has finalised their plans to visit India, we will assist them in obtaining a medical visa. The patient must apply for the visa on his or her own at the High Commission of India (Indian embassy) in their home country. We provide the patient with an invitation letter from the appropriate hospital, which is required for submitting their visa application. In addition, our team is trained to answer any questions the patient may have about medical visas and medical attendant visas.

6. Treatment Program: When seeing a doctor, extra contact information for the wardroom is provided.

7. Personal case manager: Once the patient arrives in the designated country for treatment, he or she is completely under our care. To handle any cases involving hospital/doctor negligence or malpractice against patients. We will also be responsible for the accommodation and stay of the members accompanying the patient.
