Dr Javed completed his MCh from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi and worked in the Department of GI Surgery. He has worked as Associate Professor at the Department of GI Surgery & Liver Transplant at GB Pant Hospital, Delhi. He then worked as Associate Professor at the Department of Transplant Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, USA. He then headed the Department of GI Surgery at Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh. Before joining the CK Birla Hospital®, Dr Javed was the Director at Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj & Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh.
