8 year old baby girl Aker Kuaj Woi from South Sudan was suffering from a rare complex brain tumour she was operated on for a tumor in South Sudan perhaps Dr could not clear the complete tumour After further complications connected to Doctor Amit Srivastava Director Neurosurgery at Aakash Hospital New Delhi This tumor has stopped the water route mind it causes hydrocephalus A Dr in Sudan put a tube between the brain and the stomach to drain the water which was not working Because of these Tumors grow again and radiation has given too the tumor cannot control Tumor was like a cricket ball in shape When baby Aker came to Aakash Hospital she suffered from acute headache vomiting difficulty walking and a tumor pressuring the mind Because of this pressure the hindbrain was shifted towards the spine resulting in the baby head being tilted to the left and she could not keep her neck straight She had many problems in walking and could not eat anything because of frequent vomiting She had headache and fainting at a certain interval For all these complications Dr accessed her and saw the tumor had grown again MRI has shown that the hindbrain has shifted towards the spine and reached C1 C2 Then Dr planned surgery opened it from a past incision and performed the surgery It was quite a big tumor containing solid and liquid components The entire tumor was operated out and then the hindbrain which was shifted to the spine pulled back to its place and prepared for the new layer The bone flap was shot in the last surgery Dr used titanium mash to complete the skull because the baby is quite young and will have to live for a long time The surgery took 7 to 8 hours After the surgery baby awoke and she was fine slowly and gradually baby started eating talking and playing video games watching cartoons on mobile the next day There was no headache The baby recouped very well hospital
