Surgical planning is done after clinical examination. Different patients have different indications for Breast reconstruction surgery . In presence of pictures and clinical examination, we can say what is best for her.
The choice of surgery between both the above mentioned procedure needs to be done by the patient after understanding the benefits of both.
The cost of implant based reconstruction is about 4500 to 7000 USD and about 5000-10000 USD for the autologous breast reconstruction or tissue-based reconstruction . The second step of nipple areola reconstruction of the reconstructed breast and symmetry of the other normal breast can be done about 3 to 6 months later. The cost for the same can vary between 4000 to 5000 USD.”
