A 7 years old Iraqi girl was diagnosed with multiple large liver tumors As doctors in her home country were not willing to perform a complex operation required for cure her parents contacted several centers around the world After a tele consultation with Doctor K R Vasudevan Director Department of Liver Transplant at Jaypee Hospital Noida hopeful parents travelled to Noida for treatment After a thorough evaluation a curative liver transplantation was recommended Doctor K R Vasudevan performed the challenging surgery Her father donated part of his liver A tumour equivalent to 10 percent of her body weight was removed Her parents share their experience after recovery from the operation
