The cost of 3 piece penile implant in India for international patients is 12,000 USD (Approx) & Hospital stay will be 3-4 days; Total stay in India will be 22-24 days. Cost for Indian patients is between 900000 INR (Approx). 3 piece penile implant (Inflatable) means that the implant has three pieces. The three pieces means one is the reservoir. It is a water reservoir which is placed inside the abdomen which holds the water. Then there is a pump which is a touch pump, which has it inflation or deflation mechanism. That means that when required water can be pumped into them will make erections happen. And when an erection is not required the deflection or deflation button can be pressed and the water travels back into the reservoir. And there are two crural rods of the implant which are placed inside the penis, which make the erections and the deflations possible.
This implant is proprietary technology which is accessed only by three companies in the world. As of now, only three companies make these implants one is AMS, The other is Coloplast and The third is Rigicon Infla 10. Although AMS 700 is available in India under a global warranty and b approval from the government of India because of it. This is the largest selling implant that we use in India.
